Dermot Rock is the founder behind the success that is Rocks Jewellers today. Having qualified as a watchmaker and jeweller in the early 1960's, he started out in business by placing a sign in the window of his mother's house, advertising his jewellery and watch repair service. From this modest beginning Dermot has risen to become one of the most successful and respected diamond, watch and jewellery merchants practising anywhere in Ireland.

Almost 40 years ago, Dermot Rock acquired his first premises on Grafton Street and Rocks has now returned to Grafton Street and taken over the building at No. 73.Rocks have developed a magnificent workshop where repairs are carried out and beautiful jewellery is created from Engagement Rings, Pendants, Bracelets, Earrings and Cufflinks. Each premises has private viewing areas for those special moments when choosing a unique piece of jewellery Four of Dermot’s five children now work for the company and this new generation of experts will ensure Rocks will be a renowned Jeweller of distinction in the years ahead.
